The 12 Week Year

This book is very unapologetic. It started by saying that everything here is obvious (which is my main critique about self-help books) and that this book should only be used as some kind of inspiration to take action. I really liked that shamelessness in admitting (in a way) that the book is not strictly necessary to change your life lol. It really believes that knowledge is power, but since nobody does anything with knowledge, then execution is power....

The Power of Habits

Since I was like 16 all the self-help books seemed kind of cringe to me. This is because to my eyes they don’t teach you much if you have common sense. But this book has gotten me into thinking otherwise. This book is about habits (obviously) their role in our lives, companies, and society. I consider “The Power of Habits” by Charles Duhigg to be a very interesting read. It is great combination of medical research and interesting examples, and it has a hopeful message that any of us can change our lives for better by just creating the correct habits....
